What if we took religion out of prayer? What if we think of prayer as energetic vibration or waves of thought, quantum physics? What if prayer was looked at in purely scientific terms? When I pray I am moving energy. Sending thoughts into the quantum field creates possibilities. Energy cannot be destroyed it always transforms. It is our belief systems and those of others that channel that energy into destructive acts or rigid thought, or there is the possibility of positive change. Through openness and curiosity we can change our beliefs and re-frame them over time. Humans do destructive things when they are unconsciously driven by their beliefs that have been shaped in early development. Prayer and being in a state of awe can help shift negative beliefs over time and sometimes in a flash. Being open to the field of possibility allows for energetic shifts and physiological and neurological shifts. Being open to these possibilities creates change on an energetic, biological, and neurological levels and sometimes even the material level. There is much more scientific evidence to back this up including entanglement and entrainment theories for those that are curious. Suffice to say these are the possibilities of prayer. A simple act of possibility, not a simple act of absoluteness. Prayer is a practice of possibility!
